I am a recent college graduate, and I have been job hunting since May. I live in a rural area, so there are not any job openings near me. I have been using online search agents, as well as newspaper classified ads to apply for jobs in other areas of the state. I have applied to every Admin Assistant, Clerical and Waitressing job I can find, but have not gotten ANY call backs. Is it my resume, or am I just an undesirable canidate because of my lack of experience? I don’t have ‘red flags’ in my background, and the same agency hired me back every summer during college to work. I cant work there anymore because they do not have the budget to provide me with a full time job. Can somebody help me? I am willing to do any job that does not involve children. I don’t want to do telemarketing, but if it will get me out of my parent’s house and into an apartment, then I will try.
Here is my resume

*The work experience listed above is all at one hospital local to me. A workforce center helped me compile that resume. For the most part I was like an ‘assistant’ who ended up doing pretty much anything. I was an extra pair of hands for whatever the normal hospital staff needed me to do.
To clarify: the position at the hospital above was direct hire. They advertised and I applied. After my first summer they offered me a job continuously. I never had to reapply for a position at the hospital.
My first summer was STRICTLY clerical: sorting, copying, file purging, setting up meetings, whatever the Director of Nursing needed me to do. I purged her office of 30+ years of outdated staff/patient files. Plus I edited my father’s first dissertation and am basically his secretary.
