I was extremely excited to find this job where I could work from home however it turned out to be completely different. It’s a job as advertising sales and 100% commission based, I’ve been there for a month now and still have not had a sale. The thing is I’ve had experience in sales. I’m also not getting proper training and have to find my own leads in order to make decent commission. I feel that I’m working for free. Doing my own market research, finding leads, writing my own script because according to the company to be successful is all in the script and numbers (100+ calls per day) which I’ve been following and still no success. I’m pregnant and about to give birth soon, I took the job thinking it would help bring income and now it’s just caused more stress, do I need to just stick it out and eventually get some sales? I feel pressured by the comp to make sales but don’t feel like I’m getting the proper training.
